If you've ever been drawn to the color of shallow Caribbean water, the kind that shifts from pale aqua to deep teal depending on the light and the depth, you already understand these earrings before I tell you another word about them.
I wanted to make these earnings an extra-long dangle that was light weight with a fun twist. A round Rainbow Moonstone is at the top of one earring and the bottom of the other. They each have a cutout back to allow light to filter through. Then the oval larimar dangle in-between all with sterling silver bezels, sparkle chain dangles and hand crafted ear wires. Dress them up or down and they will be a fun additional sparkle to your day.
The overall movement is subtle and easy, the kind of earring that catches light as you turn your head without ever feeling like too much.
The Stones
Larimar is found in only one place on earth, a single mountain in the Dominican Republic, and it has been treasured since its rediscovery in the 1970s. Its color ranges from pale sky blue to deep ocean teal, often with soft white patterning moving through it like clouds or surf. In spiritual traditions, larimar is connected to the throat chakra, calm and honest communication, emotional release, and the soothing energy of water and sky. It is sometimes called the Dolphin Stone or the Atlantis Stone, believed by many to carry an ancient, grounding wisdom.
Rainbow moonstone is technically a variety of labradorite, and when light hits it at the right angle, it throws that deep blue flash known as adularescence, a glow that seems to come from inside the stone rather than off its surface. Moonstone has been revered across cultures for thousands of years, associated with the moon, intuition, new beginnings, and emotional clarity. Many believe it supports inner knowing during times of change or transition.
Sterling silver carries its own symbolism in many traditions, long considered a metal of the moon, believed to amplify intuitive energy and support emotional balance.

Care Instructions
Larimar is a softer stone (Mohs 4.5 to 5) and should be handled with care. Keep these earrings away from ultrasonic cleaners, harsh chemicals, perfume, and lotion. Remove before swimming, bathing, or exercising, and avoid prolonged water exposure. Rainbow moonstone is similarly sensitive and can scratch if stored loose against harder stones or metals.
To clean, use only a soft dry cloth or the silver polishing cloth included with your order. Store in the velvet pouch provided to protect both the stones and the silver finish between wears.
