This one is genuinely hard to let go of. The charoite cabochon is large and absolutely alive with that swirling, fibrous purple that this stone is so rare and known for. No two pieces of charoite ever look the same and this one has a depth to it that shifts as the light moves across it. I set it into a bezel with a stitched style serrated edge that frames the stone beautifully, then connected it with a series of linked twisted rings that lead down to a round labradorite, set in its own detailed bezel with a scalloped edge. The whole piece dangles and moves, and the way the purple charoite and the purple/blue flash of the labradorite play off each other is something special.
The bail is a flat decorative tab I formed and adorned with the same silver that edges the labradorite on the bottom keeps your eyes moving and helps tie everything together. It is substantial without being heavy and has a really intentional, artistic feel from every angle.

The stones
Charoite and Labradorite
Charoite is found in only one place in the world, along the Chara River in Siberia, Russia, which makes it one of the rarer stones you will ever come across. Its swirling, silky purple patterns are unlike anything else in the mineral world and each piece is completely unique.
Labradorite is a beautiful stone that appears different in every light. For it to shine the most use bright light or as pictured natural outdoor light (this was about an hour before sunset and cloudy) that blue flash across the surface, called labradorescence, is one of the most beautiful optical phenomena in the natural world and no two stones show it the same way.
Metaphysically
Charoite is known as a stone of transformation and courage. It is deeply connected to the third eye and crown chakras and is said to help you move through fear, release what no longer serves you, and trust the path you are on even when it is not fully clear yet. Many people work with charoite during major life transitions, spiritual awakening, or times when they are being called to step into a bigger version of themselves. It carries a very high, fast vibration and tends to find the people who are ready for it.
Labradorite is the stone of magic and synchronicity. It is connected to the third eye chakra and is said to heighten intuition, protect your energy field, and bring hidden things into the light. People who are drawn to labradorite are usually the ones tuned into something deeper, the patterns, the signs, the things that cannot quite be explained. It is also a powerful stone for those doing spiritual or creative work, helping you access inspiration and see beyond what is immediately visible.
Metaphysical properties are based on spiritual folklore and not intended for medical purposes.
Care instructions
Both charoite and labradorite are best kept away from water, prolonged moisture, and harsh chemicals. Remove this pendant before showering, swimming, exercising, or applying perfume, lotion, or sprays. Store it in a soft pouch or lined box away from other pieces to prevent scratching.
To clean, wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Avoid soap, silver dips, and ultrasonic cleaners, as these can damage both the stones and the fine silver work. The natural patina on the oxidized silver is part of the design. If you want to brighten the metal, a gentle polishing cloth on the silver only works well, just keep it away from the stones.
For energetic cleansing, sound, moonlight, or smoke are all safe for both of these stones. Avoid water cleansing and keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the color and flash of both stones.
Every piece I make is one of a kind and listed once. When it is gone, it is gone. I photograph in natural light to represent each piece as honestly as I can, though charoite and labradorite both have a magic in person that a camera can only partially capture. This pendant is exactly as pictured.
