The Stone
This cabochon is a blue kyanite and quartz combination, round and polished, measuring approximately 29mm round x 8mm tall (1.1 inches round). The color sweeps across the stone like weather moving across a horizon, soft periwinkle blue kyanite threading into milky white quartz in bands that shift as the light changes. It looks like a painting. It looks like a sky. It looks like something that has been waiting for exactly the right person to wear it close to their heart.

The Setting
Handcrafted in sterling and fine silver (.925 and .999). The round cabochon sits in a decorative crown style bezel with a repeating scroll pattern along the outer edge that frames the stone with real intention. The setting is substantial without being heavy. At the top, a handmade hexagonal sterling bail connects the pendant to your chain with its own quiet detail work. The whole piece has a heirloom quality to it, made to be worn and passed down.

Care Instructions
Kyanite is a relatively durable stone but it has a natural layered structure and can be sensitive to sharp impacts, so treat it with a little care. Remove your pendant before swimming, showering, or applying lotions and perfume. Moisture and chemicals can affect the silver setting over time.
To clean the silver, use a soft polishing cloth with light circular motions. For the stone, a barely damp soft cloth is enough if needed, dried immediately and completely. No ultrasonic cleaners, no silver dips, no soaking.
To cleanse energetically, kyanite is one of the few stones that does not require regular cleansing as it does not accumulate negative energy. When you feel called to refresh it, sound or moonlight work beautifully. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight which can affect the stone's color over time.
