Hold this Hubei turquoise up and it looks like a river valley in autumn, seen from above. In some light the green turns almost yellow, and in others the aqua takes over. Tilt it and see which color you notice first: the moss green, the bright aqua, or the rust orange.
It sits in a sterling silver bezel with a crown of finial shaped prongs, and two hammered, textured rings at the top let it hang and move freely. I chose the stone first and built everything around it, like I always do.
This one is also for the person who can’t pick a favorite color. Green, aqua, rust orange, and black veining all share this one stone, and somehow it works. If you wear one piece every day and want it to mean something, it’s earthy enough to go with everything and detailed enough to start a conversation. Wear it with black, denim, cream, or earth tones, and it picks up whichever color is nearby. You don’t have to decide what it matches.

About Hubei Turquoise
Hubei turquoise comes from Hubei Province in China and is known for its greens and blues with dark matrix. Every stone is different, so yours will have its own pattern. Like most turquoise used in jewelry, this stone is stabilized, which makes it durable enough to wear and polish well. Hubei Turquoise is known to have some of the best color variety of all the turquoise in the world.

Care
