When I first saw this stone, I instantly saw a flower in the dark. What do you see?
This stone is almost black, and running through it are veins of rust orange and patches of green and turquoise, like a stem reaching through the dark. Turn it a different way and the whole picture changes.
The stone sits in an inverted heart bezel, which gives it a long line of points to hold the stone in place and frame the edge. Above it hangs a shield shaped bail with an eight-point star accent, joined to the pendant a hand twisted wire loop. It’s a bold piece with a lot of character, but the shape is easy to dress up or down.
